Get to know me
J. Christopher Davison was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana (northwestern corner at the top of the boot). As a child he would attend live stage adaptations of his favorite Disney movies. Performed by a local troupe called Peter Pan Players. In 7th grade he was enrolled in courses with the troupe and a passion started to burn. After 6 years of after school participation Christopher would go on to pursue an undergraduate degree in theatre at Northwestern State University. While studying Christopher received hands on experience in stage management, hair and make-up design, costume construction, and wardrobe management. In the short 4 years he spent honing his skill and learning his craft Christopher would end up working on 21 total productions. He received his Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Dance with a concentration in Performance and Directing from Northwestern State University in 2017. Quickly packing up his life and hitting the road to Colorado where he spent 5 months working as a Stage Manager and Prop Master for Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre.
Since then, he has gone on to stage manage intern with Opera houses, work in costume shops for notable amusement parks, production companies, and cruise lines. He previously worked as Costume Area Manager for Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio. As well as sharing the title of Costume Designer for all of the productions produced by the Live Entertainment Department for 3 years prior to the Six Flag Merger. He has worked notable Equity tours like Hamilton, The Peggy Tour, with IATSE 883. Currently he is working as an Freelance Install Stitcher for 4 major cruise lines around the globe. But during the Christmas Season you can find him in DC working as Wardrobe Manager at the Gaylord Resort & Convention Center.

Opening night of Cedar Point 150 Celebration 2nd year.

Christopher got to reimagine the MC costumes for the 150 Celebration’s 2nd year at Cedar Point in 2022. In a way that better executed the original design concept for the celebration. This marked Christophers official return to the Amusement Park. He would stay on and hold the title of Costume Area Manager till 2025.
